AS 14-66-9305 - The LM and a bright reflection (2) (HR)
|
Original caption:"114:57:20 MT. Up-Sun from Al's 12 o'clock pan taken near the LM at the start of EVA-1. There is relatively little glare, perhaps because part of the LM shadow may be falling on Al's camera lens. Without the Sun glare, we can see some detail on the Cone-Crater ridge. Flag, S-Band antenna, ladder, the LRRR in the West footpad.
We can also see the MESA well enough to determine that, as per checklist, the MET has not been deployed and is still folded up on the MESA".
