as12-47-6897.JPGAS 12-47-6897 - Deploying the Flag58 visiteCaption NASA originale:"116:20:22 MT - Alan Bean took this picture of Pete Conrad early in the first EVA, shortly after they deployed the U.S. Flag. Note the length of Pete's shadow. The shadow of the LM enters the picture from the middle of the left edge.
Pete is grasping the flag because the locking hinge that was supposed to hold the crossbar and flag out from the staff would not latch".

as11-44-6574.JPGAS 11-44-6574 - The Eagle, after the undocking (1)63 visiteCaption NASA originale:"A view of the LM Eagle, shortly after undocking from CSM Columbia. At this point, Mike Collins is doing a visual inspection of the Lunar Module, and is verifying that the landing gear is down and locked.
An evolution in the LM's design is also apparent. The RCS plume deflectors, mounted on the Descent Stage underneath each RCS quad, were added to prevent the thermal damage observed on the Apollo 10 LM.
Compare this photograph with that of the Apollo 10 LM ( AS10-34-5085 )".
