An evolution in the LM's design is also apparent: the RCS plume deflectors, mounted on the Descent Stage underneath each RCS quad, were added to prevent the thermal damage observed on the Apollo 10 LM.

Jettison bag under the Descent Stage, South footpad, bent probe, strut supports, more or less up-Sun so we are seeing the shadowed faces of boulders.
There is a fair sized crater East-SouthEast of the footpad - probably East Crater - which Neil will visit at the end of the EVA".

L'effetto che abbiamo battezzato "orizzonte tagliato", tuttavia, rimane.

APOLLO 11 AS 11-40-5962.jpgAS 11-40-5962 - Where did the Hills go? (3) - edited165 visiteSappiate che esistono, almeno secondo noi, tantissimi argomenti che suggeriscono la teoria del "taglio" ed altrettanti che supportano l'ipotesi della "totale genuinità" del frame.
Un frame che, proprio perchè così particolare (specie se rapportato a quello che lo precede), aiuterebbe lo Studioso a tracciare addirittura una piantina tridimensionale dell'area circostante il LM e che è stata chiamata "Tranquillity Base".
Si, avendo i mezzi tecnici indispensabili e qualche informazione in più si potrebbero fare tantissime cose. Peccato che, molto spesso, a noi - come a tantissimi altri Ricercatori Indipendenti - manchino entrambe le cose...

APOLLO 11 AS 11-40-5960.jpgAS 11-40-5960 - A column?204 visiteQuesto frame sembrerebbe raffigurare un "panorama ridondante" e invece, se guardate attentamente, c'è qualcosa che non va.
Sull'estrema Sn dell'immagine, infatti, quasi a ridosso dell'orizzonte, si "intuisce" un qualcosa che sembra un'asta o una piccola colonna conficcata nel terreno.
Per alcuni Ricercatori è un difetto dell'immagine; per altri un'antenna piantata dagli astronauti e già fotografata altre volte (ma da una distanza inferiore - vedi AS 11-40-5948/9); per altri ancora è un "alien artifact".
Noi non diciamo ancora nulla ed aspettiamo il frame originale...
