Questo Cratere, molto noto a tutti i Selenologi, ci mostra una Singolarità così particolare che abbiamo deciso di occuparcene in una Investigation ad hoc!

Abbiamo provato con il solito stretching estremo ed il risultato ottenuto è che, a nostro parere, NON si tratta di un photoartifact, bensì di un corpo reale ad elevatissima riflettenza (quale potrebbe essere il Lunar Module) distante tra gli 800 ed i 1000 metri dal punto di ripresa.
In questo frame, la visione contestuale di AS 106-17336 e la caption NASA originale:"167:24:45 MT - Charlie (Duke) turned to get this "locator" to House Rock. The tongs are stuck in the ground as a substitute for the broken gnomon. John has the rake. House Rock is the very large boulder beyond John's right shoulder".
