Ti faccio un esempio: se, un giorno, mi capitasse di imbattermi in una scala che, poggiata sulla terra nuda, si alza verso l'Infinito, non credo che mi porrei troppe domande sulla sua Origine ed i suoi Scopi.
Penso che la guarderei, per qualche istante, e poi inizierei a salire, così, un gradino dopo l'altro, senza guardare giù...
Così: tanto per vedere sino a che punto sarei capace di arrivare, prima di sentire un brivido scorrere lungo la schiena ed il collo, e quindi rendermi conto che il mio Tempo, al pari del mio Cammino, è finito..."

The_Rings-PIA10079.jpgSaturnian "Propellers" (context frame)60 visiteThe Cassini spacecraft captures 8 new propeller-like features within Saturn's A-Ring in what may be the propeller "hot zone" of Saturn's Rings.
Propeller features form around small moonlets that are not massive enough to clear out ring material, but are still able to pull smaller ring particles into a shape reminiscent of an airplane propeller. Scientists believe that propellers represent moonlet wakes, which are denser than the surrounding ring material and appear bright in the images.
Propellers were first discovered in Cassini images taken during Saturn orbit insertion in 2004. This new image is from a more extensive study of the full A-Ring and provides evidence that these features are not distributed evenly as previously thought, but are instead grouped in a 3000 Km-wide (about 1860 mile) Propeller Belt.
The largest propeller seen here is noted in the white dashed box, and it indicates the presence of a 150-meter (490-foot) moonlet. The size is inferred from the radial separation of the propeller wings. The propeller is seen in another image and is shown in the upper left box.
The reappearance of the propellers clearly demonstrates their orbital motion.MareKromium

Last week, Comet 17P/Holmes underwent an unusual outburst that vaulted it unexpectedly from obscurity into one of the brightest comets in recent years.
Sky enthusiasts from the Northern Hemisphere have been following the comet's progress closely. Pictured above Quebec, Canada, the coma of Comet Holmes has been noticeably expanding over the past few days. In the above picture, an image of Jupiter has been placed artificially nearby to allow for a comparison of angular sizes.
Jupiter has been scaled to the size it would appear at the current location of Comet Holmes. How Comet Holmes will further evolve is unknown, with one possibility being that the expanding gas cloud that started from its recent outburst will slowly disperse and fade".MareKromium

L'oggetto argenteo (ma dai riflessi dorati sui bordi) che presenta una nettissima sfuocatura (e, forse, anche una deformazione) da movimento, è un image-artifact o è qualcosa d'altro e di diverso?
Nè la NASA, nè il L&PI hanno mai menzionato il dettaglio in questione e questo dato, forse, è già di per se stesso alquanto significativo...
