Eppure guardate attentamente la sua tuta, diremmo dall'altezza delle ginocchia in giù: essa è diventata grigia, a causa di una traccia netta e definita di polvere.
Già, l'appiccicosissima ed assai fastidiosa (oltre che dall'odore strano ed impossibile da eliminare) "Moon Dust" ricopre, praticamente per intero, la parte inferiore delle gambe di Mitchell. Dove si è "calato" il nostro Amico Astronauta per ridursi in quello stato?!?

Il riflesso azzurro cambia posizione rispetto al frame che precede e sembra dilatarsi. Abbiamo fatto qualche indagine relativamente alla possibile esistenza di "luci di posizione" (come quelle dei velivoli convenzionali, ma di colore azzurro) appartenenti alla Navicella madre e/o al Modulo Lunare.
Se ci fossero state - magari anche di un colore diverso dal blu - avremmo potuto già avanzare qualche ipotesi, ma la risposta è stata negativa:...

As with the astronauts' bootprints, the track made by the MET tires are compact, smooth and, as can be seen so dramatically in this picture, more highly reflective than the rough undisturbed surface.

Also visible in the crater next to the rear (-Z) footpad is the track made by the probe as it scraped across the surface.
The right (+Y) footpad has dug into the soft rim of a crater, causing the LM to slide slightly. Refer, also, to AS 14-66-9269, a view of the left (-Y) footpad to see more evidence of this northward slide".
