Fienga - Lunexit Team)65 visiteCaption NASA originale:"This MGS-MOC image shows dunes in the North Polar Region of Mars. In this Springtime view, the dunes are largely covered by frozen Carbon Dioxide (CO2) that was deposited during the Winter months in the Northern Hemisphere. Dark spots indicate areas where the frost has begun to either sublime away, acquire a roughened texture, or both".

Gullies-Hellas_Planitia-MGS~2.jpgGullies in Hellas Planitia (Absolute Natural Colors; credits for the additional process. and color.: Dr G. Barca - Lunexit Team)65 visiteCaption NASA originale:"This MGS-MOC image shows neighboring networks of gullies in the NorthWestern wall of a South, middle-latitude, crater West of Hellas Planitia. The faint crisscrossing streaks, also observed on the wall of the crater, are evidence of passing Dust Devils, a common phenomena in this Region.
The gullies might have formed by erosion caused by running water, mixed with debris".

Meridiani_Planum_Region-PIA03650~0.jpgUnusual Landform in Meridiani Planum (Original NASA/MGS/MSSS b/w Frame)64 visiteOriginal caption:"This MGS-MOC image shows exposures of light-toned, layered, Sedimentary Rock among dark-surfaced plains in Northern Sinus Meridiani. The circular feature in the South-East (lower right) corner of the image is a wedding-cake-like tower of Sedimentary Rocks".
Location near: 2,9 North Lat. and 359,9 West Long.
Image width: width: ~3 Km (~1,9 mi)
Illumination from: lower left
Season: Northern Winter

North_Polar_Regions-Unusual_Landscape-MGS-1.jpgIndecipherable North Polar Landscape (Original NASA/MGS/MSSS b/w Frame)64 visiteOriginal caption:"This MGS-MOC image shows a slope on which layered materials are exposed by erosion in the North Polar Region of Mars. Wind streaks are also evident in this Summertime scene.
The layers that make up the material beneath the ice of the North Polar Residual Cap are typically considered to be a mixture of some amount of dust and ice, but the proportions of these constituents are not known".

Craters-Unnamed_South_Polar_Crater-1.jpgBuried and Frozen (1)64 visiteCaption originale:"This MGS-MOC image shows an eroded stack of layered material in a crater of the South Polar Region of Mars.
The composition of the layers is not known; some speculate that they may contain a combination of dust and ice, or possibly ancient sedimentary rock".

The winds responsible for the formation of the streak blew from the North-East to the South-West".
