Craters-Unnamed_Crater_with_Boulder_Tracks-MGS-PIA06450.jpgBoulder Tracks (Original NASA/MGS/MSSS b/w Frame)296 visiteAbbiamo visto, in altri Siti dedicati alle Anomalie Spaziali, delle immagini simili a questa (ma riferite alla Luna) in cui tracce del tutto analoghe a quelle che Vi proponiamo in questo MGS frame venivano ipoteticamente attribuite a manufatti in movimento all'interno di crateri od in prossimit di pendii. Certo, in mancanza di elementi di prova inoppugnabili, tutto possibile ed ipotizzabile, ma noi riteniamo che questo tipo di traccia sia da attribuirsi, in difetto di prova contraria, a dei macigni che rotolano a seguito di leggeri sismi o vibrazioni del suolo causate da impatti meteorici occorsi nelle vicinanze. Nemmeno da escludere la possibilit che si tratti di fenomeni di cosiddetto "Gravity Wasting".

Phobos_from_MGS-002.jpgPhobos from Mars Global Surveyor (3)276 visiteIn tutta onest noi pensiamo che queste stime siano da prendersi con pesantissimo beneficio d'inventario: la verit che alcuni tipi di misurazioni possono essere effettuati solo (ed ovviamente) mediante evidenze indirette.
Che il suolo di Phobos sia polveroso fortemente probabile.
Che esso sia "cos tanto" polveroso solamente un'ipotesi che si fonda sulla velocit di raffreddamento della sua superficie dopo il tramonto del Sole.

Phobos_from_MGS-001.jpgPhobos from Mars Global Surveyor (2)272 visiteTra le idee che la NASA aveva in mente c'era anche quella di inviare una Sonda proprio su Phobos, onde studiarlo meglio ed eventualmente atterrarci sopra.
L'idea di uno studio maggiormente approfondito di questo corpo celeste rimasta, ma le possibilit di un atterraggio sono sensibilmente diminuite da quando si scoperto (grazie alla Sonda Mars Global Surveyor ed alle immagini scattate in infrarosso) che l'intera superficie di Phobos ricoperta da uno strato uniforme di polvere spesso circa 1 metro!
