Faccin)54 visiteL'elaborazione in "Full Color" (che sta a significare una colorizzazione effettuata una volta applicati tutti i filtri di cui dispone la PanCam del Rover) ci mostra, in accordo alle nostre valutazioni, quella che è la realtà del panorama Marziano in Colori Naturali Amplificati (----> enhanced). Come vedete, il terriccio di Gusev si conferma color arancio-mattone, con chiazze più scure (color ruggine) e, nel caso di specie, la roccia che ci aveva incuriositi si rivela, nei punti in cui non è particolarmente impolverata, di un bel color nero intenso, con vaghi riflessi grigio-azzurro scuri, e leggermente traslucida (nonchè ad albedo elevata).
Probabilmente si tratta proprio (come suggeritoci dall'Amico Carlo Contu) di Ossidiana.
Da notare, nei suoi immediati paraggi (e soprattutto sulla Sx del frame), la presenza di altri ciottoli e sassi parzialmente interrati che sembrano condividere la medesima natura (colore e texture) della pietra oggetto di analisi.

The piece of hardware on the ground is probably a so-called "pip-pin" that was pulled off the Rover during the deployment. The "aggie" is above the slightly-buried rock above and slightly to the right of the center of the picture".MareKromium
