As_14-66-9339.jpgAS 14-66-9339 - The Blue Flare, once more...54 visiteBandiera Americana, Impronte varie, Giavellotto, pallina da golf e...Una "presenza" blu e bianca (in alto, sulla Sx dell'Osservatore, poco al di sopra dell'orizzonte) che, nonostante tutto, continua a ricordarci che non sempre si può spiegare - e liquidare - tutto quello che si vede in termini di Razionalità Pura.
"Ma è solo un image-artifact!", ci hanno detto e scritto in tanti.
Va bene, ognuno può pensarla come vuole; ma noi restiamo molto "open" verso ipotesi più esotiche e, nel frattempo, Vi confermiamo che neppure all'Istituto di Scienze Lunari e Planetarie sono tanto sicuri che si tratti di un banale difetto dell'immagine...MareKromium

G-APOLLO-11_AS_11-37-5455_%28Mosaic%29.jpgThe evolution of a Lunar Mis(t)ery: The "Flare-like Light"2144 visiteQuesto collage (o "mosaico", come piace dire alla NASA) l'ho realizzato io, in circa 10 minuti di lavoro. Sono Paolo C. Fienga, Presidente e Socio Fondatore di Lunexit.
Ci ho pensato a lungo e poi ho deciso: un posto (d'Onore!) fra le "Balle Spaziali" deve averlo anche la bizzarra "evoluzione grafica" (e digitale) di uno dei frames a mio parere più importanti della Storia delle Missioni Apollo: il frame AS 11-37-5455 il quale, come forse molti di Voi già sanno, potrebbe essere rappresentativo di quella strana e misteriosissima "flare-like light" di cui parlò il Com.te Neil Armstrong, mentre si rivolgeva a Houston ed al Mondo intero, in diretta dalla Luna, nel Luglio 1969.
Nessuno, a parte noi di Lunexit, qualche Anomaly Hunter e forse 2 o 3 Ricercatori di Frontiera, si è mai soffermato troppo a lungo su questa meravigliosa e del tutto indecifrabile immagine.
Flare-like light, ossìa: luce simile ad una fiaccola. La NASA, da noi interpellata nel 2002, ci disse questo:"...it is nothing more than a highly reflective surface in the distance..." (estratto da messaggio e-mail ricevuto dall'Information Service Center di Houston, TX in data 18-12-2002).
Una rilievo piuttosto luccicante, insomma, colpito dai raggi del Sole da poco sorto sulla Tranquillity Base. Ok, va bene. Ora guardate Voi stessi come la "highly reflective surface" è mutata nel tempo. Tutte le immagini usate per comporre questo piccolo mosaico sono ORIGINALI NASA.
"Highly Reflective Surface"? A me sta bene, ma da quando in qua un "sasso bene illuminato" è capace di proiettare un fascio di luce verso l'alto e quindi SCOMPARIRE a distanza di pochi secondi - si veda il frame AS 11-37-5456 per credere a quanto dico e scrivo)?
Guardate, analizzate e riflettete: l'essenza del mio lavoro è tutta qui. E, se mi consentite un istante di sincerità, permettetemi di dire che di "Balle Spaziali", in svariati anni di studio, ricerca ed analisi, ne ho sentite e viste davvero tante, alcune di fonte "povera", altre, come questa, di fonte "autorevole".
Anzi: autorevolissima! La "Fonte" della nostra Scienza e Conoscenza per definizione: la NASA, Cari Amici!

ZZ-Mercury-Limb-Flare-Fake-PIA16909-PCF-LXTT-IPF-0.jpgThis is NOT a "Game"!90 visiteThis beautiful and, as you can see, deeply suggestive image has been recently taken by the NASA - MESSENGER Spacecraft, while it was imaging the Limb of the Planet Mercury. What you see here could reasonably be an "Outgassing" - like the controversial ones which, sometimes, have been seen occurring on our Moon (actually, the so-called "Outgassings" are events in which Volatile-rich Materials are vented from deep inside the Lunar Interior, up to the Lunar Surface - specifically, we can think about Elements like Radon, Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, and/or Carbon Dioxide - and which might be the visible result of Low Level (---> Residual) Lunar Volcanic and/or Tectonic Activities). These Outgassing Phenomena, as you should know, are commonly put in the Cathegory of the so-called "Transient Lunar Phenomena" (or TLP, for short).-
On the other hand, this "Flare" might also be the result of an extremely unlikely (but yet possible) Residual Active Volcanic Activity (so, in this scenario, we would be looking at an actual Volcanic Plume) which happened on the innermost Planet of the Solar System: a Planet that has always been considered by the Planetary Scientists - as well as by the General Scientific Community -, like a (Geologically speaking) "Completely Dead Celestial Body".
It is also possible (even though we, as IPF, believe that this very last hypothesis is the least likely of the three) that the "Flare-like Light" seen here, on the Mercurian Limb, could be the evidence of an Impact (i.e.: a Meteor Strike) that has just occurred. However, if this hypothesis were true, we could also assume, just by looking at the shapes of both the Main Plume and the Upper Cloud which can be seen right on top of the Plume itself, that the Celestial Object that hit the Surface of Mercury should/must have followed a nearly (---> almost perfectly) Vertical Impact Trajectory (and this is another rather unlikely - better yet: extremely rare - circumstance).
This picture (which is an Original NASA - MESSENGER Spacecraft b/w frame published on the NASA - Planetary Photojournal with the ID n. PIA 16909 - but now, as we wrote herebefore, removed) has been additionally processed and then colorized in Absolute Natural Colors (such as the colors that a human eye would actually perceive if someone were onboard the NASA - MESSENGER Spacecraft and then looked down, towards the Surface of Mercury), by using an original technique created - and, in time, dramatically improved - by the Lunar Explorer Italia Team. Different colors, as well as different shades of the same color, mean, among other things, the existence of different Elements (Minerals) present on the Surface of Mercury, each having a different Albedo (---> Reflectivity) and Chemical Composition.
Important Note for the Readers: the People working at NASA for The MESSENGER Team implied that this picture was (once again, after "Caduceus") some sort of "practical joke", created to celebrate the Worldwide famous "April Fools' Day". Well, we, as IPF, believe that if this picture, as it seems, is actually a "joke" (---> a fake, in this case), it really is a VERY, VERY poor and stupid one. Please, forgive us for being so direct, but even though some People may think that this idea of making a practical joke out of a MESSENGER b/w frame was "funny" and "educational" (and, in a pretty distorted way, it probably was so), we honestly believe that this silly "stunt" only proves, in a LOUD and CLEAR WAY, how easily, once you have the right REPUTATION, skills and means, the original RAW image-data received from Space can be corrupted/tampered with, either by adding or by removing Features.
As you can also easily understand, the implications arising out of this "stunt" are, actually, countless and, in a way (like we already underlined in the past), quite disturbing...

as14-66-09320-01.jpgAS 14-66-9320 (2) - Blue Flare (nature undetermined)60 visiteUn esempio ulteriore di extra-stretch della Blue Flare che appare nel frame AS 14/9320: come vedete la texture della Blue Flare resta limpida e ben definita (un indice di "genuinità" della possibile Anomalìa), ma il "cuore" (la "sfera bianca" da cui si irradia l'illuminazione blu) NON si vede (e questo è un indice di NON genuinità della possibile Anomalìa).
Per rispondere a tanti Amici che ci hanno scritto al riguardo (citiamo fra tutti il bravissimo Titanio44) vorremmo dire che l'idea di definire la Blue Flare come un qualcosa di "certamente alieno" (alieno ----> da "estraneo" e non "man-made" per giungere sino a "evidenza di intelligenza extra-terrestre) è, ovviamente, un azzardo; tuttavia qualificare la Blue Flare - come hanno fatto in tanti, specie in alcuni Forum USA che abbiamo individuato grazie ad un Socio Americano che ci segue da tempo, nei termini di "easy and obvious image artifact (i.e.: lens flare)" è, a nostro avviso, un azzardo ancora più grande, nonchè un peccatuccio di over-semplificazione. La Blue Flare, che si creda o meno alla sua matrice non terrestre, è ancora oggi un mistero; studiarla e cercare di capire sino a che punto essa è un "corpo reale" e sino a che punto essa è invece una "illusione" è il compito dei Ricercatori Pragmatici ed Open-Minded.
"Bollare" la Blue Flare, invece e visti i dati in nostro possesso, sia come Alien Probe, sia come Lens Flare, vuol dire commettere una leggerezza enorme e, in ambo i casi, giungere ad una conclusione radicale pur trovandosi in difetto di elementi sufficienti.

Nota Lunexit: nell'inset (in alto a Dx) un extra-detail mgnf della Blue Flare che pare osservare da MOLTO vicino le operazioni di rendezvous tra CSM e LM.
Un piccolo suggerimento per tutti gli Amici appassionati della Blue Flare e delle sue controverse apparizioni. Noi riteniamo che la "genuinità" della Blue Flare (dato e premesso che esiste un quantitativo - ormai - impressionante di image artefacts simili ad essa) può essere determinata, con un discreto margine di approssimazione, anche attraverso la sottoposizione a stretch estremo del dettaglio controverso.
La Blue Flare "genuina", infatti, non solo NON si sgrana allorchè sottoposta ad anche elevate magnificazioni ma, inoltre, evidenzia il proprio "cuore": una sfera color bianco brillante la quale è - a nostro parere - difficile da spiegare ricorrendo al semplice image artefact - o vizio dell'immagine.
Questa Blue Flare, a nostro parere - e che vedrete ultra-stretchata nel frame che segue, a nostro parere è GENUINA e cioè NON E' un vizio del frame.
E, come sapete, dire che cosa una possibile Anomalìa "non è", è già molto...MareKromium
