Coined by aerospace engineer Edward A. Murphy Jr. in the late 1940s, the Law suggests that unexpected events and mistakes inevitably happen at the worst possible time and in the worst possible way.
Its corollaries are countless, but I like to highlight these four:
Corollary 1.: "Nothing is as easy as it seems."
Corollary 2.: "Everything takes longer than you think."
Corollary 3.: "If there's a chance for several things to go wrong, the one that causes the most damage will be the first to happen."
