Una curiosità: c'è un'interessante riflesso rossastro che appare - molto chiaramente - nella visiera di Buzz. Nostra opinione: il colore è il risultato di una distorsione cromatica occorsa in sede di sviluppo della pellicola; il riflesso in sè potrebbe rappresentare la sagoma di Armstrong.

Certamente si, anche perchè questi "specchietti" (certo non per allodole!) costituiscono una delle - tante! - prove tangibili e verificabili ad ogni istante del fatto che sulla Luna ci siamo arrivati davvero.
Ebbene, in questo frame ad HR, eccoVi uno degli 'specchietti' in questione, appena posizionato in situ dall'Astronauta Buzz Aldrin.
Il LM campeggia (fuori fuoco) sullo sfondo, alla Vostra Sx.

Eppure...
Eppure guardate attentamente la sua tuta, diremmo dall'altezza delle ginocchia in giù: essa è diventata grigia, a causa di una traccia netta e definita di polvere.
Già, l'appiccicosissima ed assai fastidiosa (oltre che dall'odore strano ed impossibile da eliminare) "Moon Dust" ricopre, praticamente per intero, la parte inferiore delle gambe di Mitchell. Dove si è "calato" il nostro Amico Astronauta per ridursi in quello stato?!?

There is a great deal of dirt on the north face of the SIDE.
Because this face receives little direct sunlight, the dirt will have little effect on the internal temperature of the instrument.
Dirt on the East or West faces and on the top would increase the amount of sunlight that the instrument would absorb during the course of a Lunar Day and, therefore, would lead to a higher than optimal internal temperature".

This is one of the few ALSEP documentation photos taken during all of Apollo that shows a "level bubble" with any clarity. It is a large bubble, being about half the diameter of the dome that contains it.
Note that there is some dirt on the top of the SIDE, although not covering a large percentage of the surface".

Ma, a parte quello strano oggetto color rosa e giallo (probabilmente fatto di plastica) che faceva parte dell'equipaggiamento degli Astronauti, questa enigmatica "Glass Sphere", dov'è?!?
A meno che, ovviamente, il termine Glass-Sphere non sia altro che un nick-name per indicare l'oggetto in questione il quale, nel frame 11608, viene rimosso.
Ad ogni modo, un'immagine come questa nasconde moltissime domande alle quali non è decisamente facile dare una (sensata) risposta...

Alla Vostra Sx, sullo sfondo, si riesce a vedere il LR ed un Astronauta mentre si aggira fra le varie dotazioni posizionate sulla superficie della Luna per compiere i prescritti esperimenti.
