Una curiosità: c'è un'interessante riflesso rossastro che appare - molto chiaramente - nella visiera di Buzz. Nostra opinione: il colore è il risultato di una distorsione cromatica occorsa in sede di sviluppo della pellicola; il riflesso in sè potrebbe rappresentare la sagoma di Armstrong.Feb 23, 2006

This down-Sun shows the bright halo - possibly a diffraction effect - that appeared around the shadow of Neil's helmet. Note, also, how washed out the scene is along the line of his shadow. This effect is due to the fact that, in this direction, all of the shadows - excepting only those cast by objects in the immediate foreground - are hidden by the objects that cast them. This frame is from Neil's initial Pan taken from near the bottom of the ladder. This frame shows the older, Eastern component of the Double Crater below Neil's LM window.
This crater is about 10 mt across and it's Western half is overlain by a younger, 12-mt crater".
Cerchiatura Blu: la misteriosa "Blue Flare" che apparve svariate volte nei frames Apollo 14 fa capolino all'orizzonte. Si tratta di un photo-artifact? Diremmo proprio di no...

APOLLO 11 AS 11-40-5941 HR-1.jpgAS 11-40-5941 - What's on the ground?259 visiteForse l'oggetto sferico e trasparente che si vede nella cerchiatura blu è un artefatto fotografico; forse si tratta della "glass-sphere" di cui si era detto a proposito di altri frames ma che, di fatto, non eravamo mai riusciti a vedere. O forse è un oggetto reale (che poi si tratti di un manufatto alieno o di un qualcosa "buttato là" dagli Astronauti stessi, proprio non possiamo saperlo).
L'ombra che vediamo è quella di Neil Armstrong; il "commento NASA ufficiale" a questo frame è il seguente:"110:57:05 MT - This down-Sun photograph completes Neil's pan".
Il resto...Il resto può essere solo fantasia o speculazione. Purtroppo.
