In the viral video uploaded on YouTube by several Japanese TV channels, as many as 10 bright objects are seen quickly passing the skies of Osaka in broad daylight. White lights dance over Japan’s skies. What Could they possibly be? Footage captured of strange white objects floating over Japan. Could they be UFOs? The 10 white circular balls floating in the sky above Osaka are quick moving and dance around in the two-minute long video. The unusual white lights are similar to those spotted above a Blue concert in Hyde Park in June. But in the London sighting the lights hovered in the sky for just a brief moment before they suddenly disappeared into thin air, just as quickly as they came. The Osaka globes have been clearly seen for much longer. Last month, mysterious footage from NASA’s live feed appeared to show three blurry UFOs leaving the Earth’s atmosphere and flying into space. Le immagini hanno cominciato a circolare insistentemente sui social, dando vita alle più disparate teorie. Il fenomeno non è stato sottovalutato nemmeno dalle autorità locali, che hanno avviato delle indagini per cercare di comprendere la natura dello strano avvistamento. Gli Alaska State Troopers e l'Alaska Rescue Coordination Center, incaricati del caso, hanno immediatamente escluso la pista dell'incidente aereo, non avendo ricevuto alcun allarme o richiesta d'aiuto in quelle ore. Mentre il mistero si infittisce, sul web proliferano le teorie. Si va da chi ipotizza che la strana scia sia stata causata da un meteorite, fino a chi parla di «attacco missilistico russo». La bizzarra nube è stata associata, molto più fantasiosamente, anche all'atterraggio di un Ufo.
Da molti la forma della scia di fumo viene associata a quella di «un verme». Nessuna delle teorie è stata confermata dalle autorità locali. La spiegazione più convincente arriva da un comunicato dei Troopers dello Stato nord-americano: «Ulteriori indagini hanno rivelato che un grande jet commerciale stava volando in quella zona quando sono state scattate le foto. L'aereo è stato contattato e ha riferito di normali operazioni di volo in rotta verso l'aeroporto JFK di New York». I militari ritengono che la nube potrebbe essere la scia del jet commerciale che, combinata con la luce del sole nascente, ha generato il peculiare fenomeno atmosferico. La nota conclude: «Apprezziamo molto i numerosi abitanti dell'Alaska che questa mattina hanno segnalato l'avvistamento sospetto alle forze dell'ordine».MareKromiumApr 10, 2022

I usually shy away from UFO stuff these days, even though I have seen several, but, I like this one. As mentioned I think it is visually impressive. And it’s on Spaceweather, which doesn’t hurt. Also appearing here in the local paper/site (in Portuguese. They wrote:

A citizen from Novo Hamburgo, in the south of Brazil, photographed – between 8:30 and 9 PM on 22nd october – a strange object in the sky. Specialists disagree on what it could be. One of Them said that it is not a weather balloon. Another said that is not a paramotor. Some say it could be a drone (unmanned the vehicle). And there are those who claim that it is just a lens flare.
Is this "thing" a UFO? Technically, yes, it is, but semantically it depends on what you personally think when you hear that term. Lens flare is popular in the comments section, as expected. Could very well be lens flare but I do not think so at this moment. Could of course be lots of things".
WARNING! Se leggete con attenzione le dichiarazioni dell'Autore dello scatto (ignoto) e quindi i dati tecnici della ripresa, troverete una notevole discrepanza. L'Autore dello scatto dice che la fotografia è stata ottenuta fra le 20:30 e le 21:00 del 22 Otytobre 2013. Ma i dati della fotografia, come da lui stesso estrapolati, parlano del 24 Ottobre 2013, ore 09:55 (il che significherebbe "tarda mattinata"). Comunque questo è un dettaglio. Ciò che vale notare è la notevole diversità di data e di orario.
NOTA: gli EXIF Data. Letteralmente, Exif è l’acronimo di Exchangeable Image File Data (in italiano Dati Intercambiabili di un File-Immagine). Trattasi di informazioni che riguardano i dati di scatto di una fotografia e tutte le informazioni collegate alla immagine ottenuta, e cioé:
• i dati tecnici di scatto (per es.: lunghezza dell'esposizione; lunghezza focale della fotocamera ecc.)
• il tipo di fotocamera utilizzata
• l’obiettivo utilizzato
•l a data e l’ora di scatto eccetera.
Sono tutte informazioni che possono essere utili per svariati ordini di motivi. Comunque, i dati Exif, chiamati anche "Metadati", sono le informazioni che una fotocamera (p.e.: reflex, mirrorless, compatta, bridge ma anche di smartphone) registra per ogni fotografia scattata.MareKromiumDic 30, 2021

UFO-11-1.jpgUFO or Lens Flare? (2) - EDM133 visiteCome "Lens Flare" è/sarebbe davvero anomala. Esistono altre immagini di "cose" simili a quella di cui si scrive ma, come sempre, sono indefinibili. In altre parole, provano che "qualcosa" è stata ripresa o si è "creata" all'interno della lente della macchina fotografica e null'altro. Comunque una cosa la possiamo dire: le "Lens Flares" esigono l'esistenza di una "notevole", ancorché solo puntiforme, sorgente di luce che è di regola visibile nel fotogramma o appena al di fuori di esso. In questo frangente, se osservate il Frame Contestuale, noterete che, luci della strada a parte, la Sorgente - diciamo - "Generatrice" della Lens Flare non c'è. Un "Raggio Cosmico" che "impatta" la Camera CCD del Rover? Ma quando mai si è vista una cosa del genere? Quando??? MAI! E se non mi credete andate a guardarvi un tre/quattro centinaia di migliaia di frame (uno ad uno, ovviamente) e poi mi direte. E se avete idee od ipotesi migliori - mi ripeto - scrivete. "One possibility is that the light is the glint from a rock surface reflecting the Sun", NASA imaging scientist Justin Maki said to the Houston Chronicle. And then: "When these images were taken each day, the Sun was in the same direction as the bright spot, (such as) W/N-W from the Rover and relatively (maeaning???) low in the Sky".
In a statement made to Space.com, Maki added another possibility, i.e. that the light could be caused by the way Sunlight managed to hit Curiosity’s camera.
"The Rover Science Team is also looking at the possibility that the bright spot could be Sunlight reaching the camera's CCD [Charge-Coupled Device] directly through a "vent hole" in the camera housing, which has happened previously on other cameras on Curiosity and other Mars Rovers when the geometry of the incoming Sunlight - relative to the camera - is precisely aligned”. he said.
Della serie: "Troviamo un'obiezione (cioé stupidata) assurda e complicatissima che nessuno (o quasi) capirà mai. Così tutto va a posto". BRAVI! Obbiettivo raggiunto. Ma NON per "tutti"...
Ma c'é di più.
"The photo in question was taken on April 3 by Curiosity’s right-hand Navigation Camera, and shows what looks an awful lot like a bright, shining light off in the distance. NASA itself has not commented on the nature of the light, but UFO watchers have wasted no time suggesting it’s not natural and, therefore, a sign of alien life.
"This could indicate there there is intelligent life below the ground and uses light as we do," Scott Waring wrote on his UFO Sightings Daily website. "This is not a glare from the Sun, nor is it an artifact of the photo process. Look closely at the bottom of the light. It has a very flat surface giving us 100% indication it is from the surface”.
“Sure NASA could go and investigate it, but hey, they are not on Mars to discover life, but there to stall its discovery,” he concluded.
Others aren’t quite convinced. The editor of All About Space magazine, Ben Biggs, told The Daily Mail that people shouldn’t be leaping to such dramatic conclusions so quickly. “While the ‘light’ is as yet unexplained, it's quite a leap to assume that it has an intelligent source,” he said. “The public can afford to speculate wildly but NASA is an organization internationally renowned for credible science. It needs to exhaust every other likely explanation before it can begin to explore less realistic phenomena.”
Although NASA has yet to release a statement, Doug Ellison of the agency’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory dismissed the idea that the light was proof of intelligent life. On Twitter, he told NBC News the beacon is a “cosmic ray hit,” noting that there is no light on the image taken by the left-hand navigation camera, which was also captured at the exact same moment.

Ma, dico io, su cosa? Su un effetto di sovra-saturazione che conoscono anche i dilettanti? Ma non era "più facile" dire la cosa più ovvia ed anche più probabile? (magari anche un "out-gassing", tipo quelli che occorrono sulla Luna e danno vita ai TLP?) ... No. Tutto, tranne l'ovvio e l'altamente probabile. Raggi Solari incidenti su una "roccia" altamente riflettente (stupidata planetaria!); raggio (casuale) di Luce Solare che "inganna" la fotocamera del Rover (taccio per decenza...); Raggio Cosmico che "colpisce" la camera CCD del Rover (una possibilità su "n" miliardi...) e così via.
Ed allora io "deduco" - da quanto sopra - che o non sanno fare il "loro" mestiere (ergo sono incompetenti), oppure non sanno a cosa attaccarsi per giustificare e spiegare un evento altrimenti difficilmente (esclusa la sovra-saturazione) spiegabile. Povera NASA! E, soprattutto: poveri noi!
p.s.: io (a scanso di equivoci) NON dico né ho mai detto (rectius: scritto) che trattasi di "Segnale di Vita Intelligente"! Io ho solo scritto che le "spiegazioni" date dai "Fenomeni" della NASA sono improbabili (rectius: stupide). Tutto qui. Ne avete di "migliori"? In a photo snapped by NASA's Curiosity Rover, which has been traversing Mars' Surface since 2012, the robotic explorer caught an anomaly mingled among the planet's rolling landscape. Floating just above a dune on the right side (Dx) of the black-and-white image, Curiosity spotted a hard-to-miss white light.
Images taken directly before and after the anomaly which are time-stamped about a minute apart show up show no signs of any lights.
Though NASA hasn't yet addressed what the light is, it has acknowledged similar phenomena in the past, when the Curiosity rover happened upon an equally mysterious illumination on Mars' surface in 2014.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, a NASA spokesperson offered up a simple, if unsatisfying suggestion. 'One possibility is that the light is the glint from a rock surface reflecting the sun,' a spokesperson said in a previous report.
'When these images were taken each day, the sun was in the same direction as the bright spot, west-northwest from the rover, and relatively low in the sky.
Alternatively, the NASA spokesperson said the light may have resulted from sunlight reflecting off of the rover's sensors. Similar reflections from the Sun have cropped up in photos in the past when the sun is aligned at various positions in the sky.
'The Rover Science Team is also looking at the possibility that the bright spots could be caused by Cosmic Rays striking the camera's detector.'
When it comes to the Curiosity Rover, NASA has keyed in on other shiny phenomenon in the past, including what were believed to be fragments of a meteorite glinting in the Sun.
