Caption NASA originale:"Spirit's tracks leading back from the West Spur Region can be seen on the right side of the pan. The Region just beyond the area where the tracks made their last zig-zag is the area known as 'Paso Robles', where Spirit discovered rock and soil deposits with very high sulfur abundances. After acquiring this mosaic, Spirit drove around the Cumberland Ridge rocks seen here and is now driving up the flank of Husband Hill, heading toward the summit".

Nota: le riflessioni svolte dalla NASA sulle difficoltà connesse al montaggio di panorami ottenuti mediante fotocomposizione di frames ottenuti durante diversi Soles (e ad ore diverse di ciascun Sol) sono corrette. Tuttavia, secondo noi, alcune incongruenze nelle immagini che rappresentano scorci analoghi del paesaggio Marziano NON sono riconducibili a questo tipo di problematica.
La caption NASA è corretta, ma non esaustiva. Le rocce che, da un Sol all'altro, sembrano 'spostarsi' meritano, a nostro avviso, una indagine molto più profonda.
