This view looks toward the Leading Hemisphere of Tethys. Odysseus Crater is about 450 Km, or approx. 280 miles, across. North on Tethys is up and rotated 3° to the right. The image was taken in Visible Green Light with the Cassini Spacecraft narrow-angle camera on Feb. 14, 2010. The view was obtained at a distance of approx. 178.000 Km (such as about 111.000 miles) from Tethys and at a Sun-Tethys-Spacecraft, or Phase, Angle of 73°. Con l'espressione "Absolute" (Natural Colors) intendo dire che la colorizzazione del frame è stata integralmente ottenuta facendo ricorso a "luci virtuali". Non ho soldi per brevettare la tecnica, ma Vi posso garantire che l'ho ideata, testata e - alla fine - realizzata io, da solo. Spero che Vi piaccia... - PCF

grande MK , tecnicamente riproduci la luce riflessa del sole, che a seconda i materiali le atmosfere ecc ecc cambia quindi tanto studio e tanta fatica,il risultato davvero un Grande Risultato......speriamo che anche le bollette della luce virtuale siano virtuali eh eh un abbraccio marco

Grazie! L'illuminazione globale, in questo caso, è il prodotto di tre sorgenti diverse: una eclatante, una discreta ed una terza minimale (o "di fondo", come la chiamo io). Ma ho ancora tanto lavoro da fare e miglioramenti da studiare ed applicare... Insomma: la strada è ancora lunga... - Un abbraccio a Te ad al Mitico Titanio!!! doc
