The high-standing ridge near the left side of the scene is a terrace that slumped off the crater’s rim (located to the far left of this frame, but out of the image). The bumpy terrain near the bottom of the image is also material that has slumped off the crater rim.
The center of the image contains a terraced fan. The fan emanates from a valley (not pictured, located in the lower part of the scene) that intersects the crater’s south rim, which suggests that the valley might have transported fluid, likely water, into the crater. If this happened, then the fan marks where the flow deposited its sediment.

AA-Mars_Always.jpgCongratulations!157 visiteSu Marte, come sospettavamo da molti anni, esiste attività Sismica (forse "Residuale"), molto probabilmente Vulcanica (idem), sembra esserci una "Qualche Forma di Vita" (!!!) e, last but not least, ci hanno pure fatto ascoltare - grazie ai microfoni posizionati sul Lander In-Sight (NASA) - il suono del "Vento di Marte".
Tutto Bellissimo!
Peccato che, con mezzi ENORMEMENTE inferiori, c'eravamo arrivati anche noi, con paziente e quasi "certosino" lavoro di analisi forografica e dei Dati Pubblici, da oltre dieci anni (a proposito, fu il nostro Socio Storico, Marco Faccin, a notare che di "microfoni" ce ne sono anche su altri Lander....).
Ora ho pure scoperto che il Nostro Sito é sparito dai "Collegamenti Esterni" di Wikipedia, a vantaggio di un altro, gestito da una "vecchia conoscenza".
Bene: molto bravo Lui (Onore a chi vince) e fesso io (o noi, se volete).
Che soddisfazione: gli anni passano, ma la Metodologia "Premiante", in Italia, proprio non cambia mai. Ma va bene così: tanto, chi ha fatto, sa di aver fatto.
E chi ha...fatto altro..., ne é pure consapevole.
E tanto mi basta.

Fienga/Lunar Explorer Italia/Italian Planetary Foundation)115 visiteThis image, taken by the NASA - Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter in December 2011, shows us a portion of Jus Chasma, a segment of the massive Martian Canyon System known as Vallis Marineris; the most important detail visible in the picture is given by the presence, within the Chasma, of a Fault (which, by the way, it had been previously imaged by the NASA - Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) - Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC).
If you look carefully towards the centre/right (Dx) side of the picture, you will also notice that a small Valley cuts across the Ridge. Planetary Scientists have asked themselves if what we see here could be the final result of the action of some Tectonic Process, and a Study that was carried out about this topic in the AD 2012, suggested that Mars actually possesses Tectonic Plates! However, and even admitting that what has been suggested by the aformentioned Study is actually true, the question about how these processes worked (or are still working, even though in just a "residual way"...) here and, perhaps, elsewhere on the Red Planet, is still unanswered.

ESP_025164_1655-1) have been additionally processed and then colorized (and re-colorized, respectively) in Absolute Natural Colors (such as the colors that a human eye would actually perceive if someone were onboard the NASA - Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and then looked down, towards the Surface of Mars), by using an original technique created - and, in time, dramatically improved - by the Lunar Explorer Italia Team.MareKromium

guardando un frame come questo, che cosa potreste dire? Come potreste (provare a) commentarlo?
Domanda difficilissima. Ok, allora diciamo questo: usando molta attenzione, un pò di nozioni di Geologia, molta intuizione e - come ovvio - l'immancabile seriale NASA che identifica il quadro (e che qui su Lunar Explorer Italia trovate SEMPRE), potreste anche - e magari legittimamente - arrivare a concludere che quanto ripreso potrebbe costituire una estrapolazione (un "crop", come si dice in gergo) di un anonimo dettaglio di un altrettanto anonimo rilievo superficiale marziano avente origini in parte erosive ed in parte eoliche.
Ed avreste ragione: questo "crop", infatti, è una porzione ultramagnificata del frammento di un frame NASA-MRO Hirise, pubblicato in versione JP-2 (o JPEG-2000, se preferite).
Ma detto questo, Vi spingereste ad ipotizzare la Natura "Artificiiale" del rilievo inquadrato? Arrivereste - addirittura - a dire che si tratta di una PROVA TANGIBILE dell'esistenza di Strutture Aliene sulla Superficie del Pianeta Rosso (magari perchè la texture del dettaglio è "a maglia incrociata")?
Ovviamente no.
Solo uno stupido, o un Ricercatore totalmente sprovveduto potrebbe fare una cosa simile.
O forse no. Ci stiamo sbagliando.
Forse anche un "furbacchione" potrebbe fare una cosa simile...
Perchè diciamo questo? Perchè stamattina (ultimi nella "lista", ma presenti), abbiamo ricevuto una missiva (via e-mail) la quale, a firma di un sedicente Avvocato Italiano (!), ci dice che "un Suo Cliente - un Ricercatore che intende restare per il momento anonimo - ha individuato LE FOTOGRAFIE CHE PROVANO IN MANIERA INEQUIVOCABILE l'esistenza di Strutture Aliene (manufatti) sulla Superficie del Pianeta Rosso..." eccetera.
E' uno scherzo? L'ultima trovata di un buontempone o di uno sfaccendato? ASSOLUTAMENTE NO!
Questo messaggio è arrivato a Lunar Explorer Italia, MA NON SOLO!
Nei giorni scorsi lo hanno anche ricevuto, infatti, i Direttori di svariati Magazines che si occupano di Scienza, Scienza Alternativa, Ufologia, Eso-Archeologia etc., nonchè, sebbene in forma di messaggio da parte di un nuovo (e non meglio identificato) "Lettore", alcuni tra i più accreditati Forum di discussione di Ufologia ed Anomalìe Spaziali (su tutti citiamo il Forum USA: "Above Top Secret"; la discussione si intitola "What's going on here!!??", l'Autore è un certo "Taymour" e, se volete leggere tutta la storia, eccoVi il link: http : / / www.abovetopsecret.com / forum / thread468269/pg1).
Adesso ci chiediamo: ma quale sarà mai lo scopo di una simile (ed assurda) iniziativa? Cui prodest?
Ci abbiamo pensato a lungo...Circa un minuto...E poi la risposta è arrivata, chiara ed inequivocabile: questa è la (OVVIA) base di un lancio pubblicitario.
Una trovata commerciale "alla Hoagland", insomma.
Qualcuno (ovviamente Italiano - ahinoi...che magra figura che facciamo!...) ha avuto l'idea di preparare il terreno per una nuova pubblicazione avente ad oggetto "l'analisi" di frames orbitali (presumiamo MRO) nei quali si dovrebbero vedere dei rilievi ambigui/anomali.
Rilievi che, come il materiale "esemplificativo" inviato dal buon Avvocato dovrebbe dimostrare, costituiscono la prova provata dell'esistenza - attuale o pregressa - di una Civiltà Indigena del Pianeta Rosso.
Purtroppo però, il materiale inviato dal nostro Amico Avvocato (il cui nome e la cui provenienza geografica li potrete leggere, inter alia, sul summenzionato thread di "Above Top Secret"), ha una sola caratteristica: è, scientificamente parlando, "purissima fuffa".
Per l'esattezza, si tratta di "crops" (ecco perchè Vi abbiamo proposto questo frame e posto l'interrogativo iniziale!) i quali sono TUTTI PRIVI DI SERIAL NUMBER, PROCESSATI IN FALSI COLORI, DECONTESTUALIZZATI E, DUNQUE, ASSOLUTAMENTE INUTILI A QUALSIASI FINE DI RICERCA SERIA, SIA ESSA DI TIPO SCIENTIFICO TRADIZIONALE O BORDERLINE.
In altre parole: questa "missiva epocale" è il primo step di una campagna pubblicitaria che precederà il lancio di un "booklet" il quale, costruito sulla falsariga di tanti altri, butterà fumo e disinformazione negli occhi dei Lettori e contribuirà in maniera GRAVE e PROFONDA ad aumentare l'ignoranza sulla Materia e la ridicolizzazione di coloro i quali la praticano e coltivano quotidianamente e seriamente.
Le caratterizzazioni della missiva e la personalità di "Taymour", inoltre, ci permetterebbero anche di dire CHI SIA L'AUTORE DELLE EPOCALI (!) SCOPERTE (!!!).
Ma per ora - e per ovvi motivi - ci fermiamo qui.
In privato, se volete, potremo essere più chiari (ed anche "accettare scommesse" - bicchieri di vino e non soldi, però - sulla nostra ipotesi...).
