Image027-Heat-Shields.jpgThe "Thing" on Sol 328263 visite(note: this is a translation of the Italian comment to images 1 and 2 herebefore) Watch out: the distance is different, the Martian Days (or Sols) are different, BUT the visual angle the 2 pictures were taken from is THE SAME! So what? So, we're now asking ourselves WHAT HAPPENED to the Opportunity's Heat-Shield in that lap of time running between Sol 104 (when this piece of "Space Junk" looked like a big sparkling stone, partly warped and partly squared - see the previous picture) and Sol 328 (when we "found out" that such a piece of metal was, instead, "round and tapered).
Maybe the "Aliens" - better yet: the Martians! - replaced the original "Made in USA" piece of junk with something else?
Perhaps the 'shooting capacities' of the Rover's cameras changed dramatically?
Or - maybe... - the People of NASA, wisely driven by wise minds, simply ERASED - as long as the Rover was getting closer to what we now believe it was a Surface Anomaly - the original artifact and REPLACED it with a "virtual" Heat-Shield?

"...Ukert's equilateral message is notably significant to us.
It is this precise 2-dimensional image of a 3-dimensional tetrahedron at Ukert that Hoagland decoded in, and related to, the mathematical relationships seen at Cydonia on Mars. It also reflects the singular symbology of "Hyper Dimensional Physics"...".

(5)261 visiteE così, chiudendo questa incredibile Investigation con il frame ultra-compresso che viene messo a disposizione del Pubblico dall'"Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Journal (Image library)", vorremmo ringraziare il Dr Feltri per il solito - spettacolare - contribuito ed il Dr Barca per la notevolissima attenzione che ha posto nell'analisi visuale dei NASA Original Apollo frames e che gli ha permesso l'identificazione di un dettaglio davvero sconcertante.
Un'analisi che, se eseguita con passione ed attenzione - credeteci! - riserva sempre (SEMPRE) qualche sorpresa...

Image014.jpgThe "Hills of Disgrace" : "West Spur" from above (detail mgnf)259 visiteInquadriamo ancora meglio la posizione di West Spur nel momento in cui Spirit si è avvicinato maggiormente, ossìa tra il Sol 202 ed il Sol 210.
Il settore circolare (sebbene l'immagine MGS risulti piuttosto velata a causa del passaggio di formazioni nuvolose stratiformi sulle Columbia Hills) evidenzia West Spur e, dalla "pianta", già si comprende molto bene che NON C'E' una grande corrispondenza con quanto mostrato dal frame PIA06770.
Anzi, a dire il vero, anche tutti gli altri dettagli che si vedono in planimetria non sembrano trovare adeguato riscontro nelle foto pervenute da Spirit...

Image037-54-10075567_C.jpgBlue Flares and the Invisible Crater: Cone Crater (detail mgnf)259 visiteSemmai la questione si complica per la presenza di strane caratteristiche geomorfologiche nella parte Nord-Ovest e di una curiosa "rampa" che si intravede nell'area meridionale del Cratere e che non era visibile neppure nelle altre fotografie planimetriche.
La cosa comunque non deve avere sconvolto gli Astronauti, visto che non l'hanno né descritta, né fotografata in alcuna circostanza (anche se la scelta per l'allunaggio in quest'area nella zona settentrionale di Fra Mauro non deve essere stata proprio accidentale...).
