Se Vi capitasse di vedere un qualcosa del genere nei Cieli Notturni, sappiate che NON é né una "Shooting Star" né un "UFO". E' solo il flash (raggi del Sole che si riflettono sui pannelli) di un Satellite Artificiale della Classe "IRIDIUM".
Nota: "Iridium" è un Sistema di Satelliti per Telecomunicazioni, il cui nome deriva da "Iridio" (n. 77 della Tavola Periodica degli Elementi). Per curiosità, 77 era esattamente il numero di satelliti che il Progetto originariamente prevedeva di posizionare in orbita terrestre.
A Settembre 2019, tuttavia, solo 72 sono effettivamente nello Spazio Circum-Terrestre (66 attivi e 6 quiescenti).MareKromium

Forse perchè neppure a Houston sanno di che cosa si tratti? Se così fosse, non vediamo il problema che ci sia ad ammetterlo...

(1) - Sol 39177 visiteNotate delle similitudine fra questi rilievi (splendidamente montati in 3D) relativi al Sol 39 di Opportunity ed i rilievi ripresi, sempre da Opportunity, nei Soles 715/720, e quindi da Spirit, nei Soles 730/736? Vi sembra che si tratti di rilievi rocciosi nel senso "tecnico" della parola?
A nostro parere, una possibile matrice organica è, se non evidente, almeno fortemente probabile...

They are similar in appearance to terrestrial cirrocumulus or high altocumulus clouds. On Earth, such clouds are relatively transient and consist of small, individual cloudlets arranged in rippled patterns. They usually form 6 to 12 Km (about 4 to 7 miles) above Earth's surface by a process known as convection, during which warm air rises and cools, with clouds condensing from the moist air once it has cooled sufficiently.
These Martian clouds appear to be associated with a broader layer of ice-crystal clouds fanning out toward the upper right of the frames at the end of the movie. This is similar to the occurrence of terrestrial cirrocumulus and altocumulus clouds within layers of cirrus or cirrostratus clouds on Earth.
Also apparent in this movie are prominent waves in the clouds, a result of the effect of gravity waves on cloud thickness, as on Earth.
Though both Rovers now have the ability to autonomously detect clouds, these images were taken prior to the first use of the new abilities. The images shown here were stored on Opportunity and were transmitted to Earth on Sol 1056 (such as Jan. 12, 2007) during a routine communications pass.
