Lasciando affrontare ad un'altra trattazione, infatti, la disputa sulla reale natura di questo tipo di sanzione, occorre stigmatizzare l'eccessivo (ed in alcuni casi intollerabile) lasso di tempo che intercorre fra l'accertamento del reato e l'esecuzione della condanna.
Questo non vuol dire, ovviamente, che la certezza del Diritto deve essere sacrificata sull'altare della rapidità, certamente no!
Ma quando parliamo di "Pena di Morte" allora le ipotesi percorribili, a mio parere, sono soltanto due: o essa viene (come alcuni chiedono) eliminata del tutto oppure, se essa viene mantenuta in vigore, allora diventa indispensabile (nell'interesse primario delle Parti coinvolte, del Diritto e del Senso Comune) ridurre drasticamente l'attesa fra l'accertamento del reato, l'emissione della sentenza e l'esecuzione della pena..."

The graph, a simplified version of the original data, plots stellar brightness (vertical axis) against stellar color-temperature. The normal main sequence stars in the cluster are plotted on the right curve.
The cooler a star is, the redder it appears and it diminishes in brightness.
Hubble has identified the very coolest and faintest normal stars in the cluster.
The curve on the left plots the white dwarf population of burned-out sunlike stars. It follows a normal "cooling slope" until the white dwarf begins to look bluer and hook toward the left BUT the dwarfs aren't getting hotter!
Chemical changes in their atmospheres make them look cooler.
This predicted "white dwarfs hook" has never been seen before.

To help find out, a team of researchers took the most detailed image ever of gas clouds and dust in the neighboring Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) galaxy. The composite image, shown above, was taken by the SST in infrared light, which highlights the natural glow of the warm materials returned to the interstellar medium by stars. The above mosaic combines 300.000 individual pointings to create a composite 1000-times sharper than any previous LMC image. Visible are vast clouds of gas and dust, showing in graphic detail that dust prefers regions near young stars (red-tinted bright clouds), scattered unevenly between the stars (green-tinted clouds) and in shells around old stars (small red dots).
Also visible are huge caverns cleared away by the energetic outflows of massive former stars.
The faint blue (false-color) glow across the bottom is the combined light from the old stars in the central bar of the LMC. The LMC is a satellite galaxy to our own Milky Way Galaxy, spans about 70,000 light years, and lies about 160,000 light years away toward the southern constellation of the Swordfish (Dorado)".

Solo perché - e non senza sforzi!... - riesco a vedere la Realtà per ciò che è Davvero.
Senza maschere.
Senza finzioni.
Senza illusioni.
Vedere ed interpretare le cose che accadono per quello che esse sono realmente, eliminando le facili speculazioni emotive, la retorica, l'ipocrisia, il quieto vivere, e tutto quanto costituisce ciò che io chiamo "Scudo dell'Io", significa essere VIVI.
Significa non aver svenduto la propria Anima al miglior offerente.
Significa avere ancora sangue nelle vene, carne sopra le ossa e pensieri nella mente.
Significa essere Uomini.
Significa, in ultima analisi, essere liberi.
Ma l'ipocrisia...L'ipocrisia che ci avvolge, dolce, suadente e sottile, coprendo le nostre miserie con una coltre di confortevole nebbia, chiama lupi coloro che comprendono la Realtà.
