It was built by a team from Bulgaria, East Germany and the Soviet Union, and extensive image processing was performed at IKI and the Keldysh Institute.
Channel 1 was wide angle with a blue-green filter (400-600 nnmts);
Channel 2 was narrow angle with clear filter (400-1100 nnmts), and
Channel 3 was wide angle with near-infrared filter (800-1100 nnmts).
