Il motivo semplice: alcuni dettagli dell'immagine in "almost true colors" - in termini cromatici - non cambiano rispetto a quella elaborata in "false colors". Se questo vero siamo davanti ad un'elaborazione a falsi colori "selettiva" (cio con cambio dei colori solo di una parte dell'immagine). Cio siamo davanti ad un "falso".
