O almeno non lo è sempre. Forse lo è solo ai cambi di stagione: periodi durante i quali venti impetuosi spazzano il Pianeta - letteralmente - da cima a fondo e lo "nascondono" agli occhi indiscreti delle nostre videocamere.
O forse anche questa è un'impressione ingannevole e la "chiarezza" con cui vediamo l'orizzonte più prossimo dipende (soprattutto) dall'alta qualità degli "occhi" di Spirit...

Ma guardate attentamente il Cielo Marziano e poi andate a vedere lo stesso Cielo Marziano sopra Meridiani Planum: c'è una differenza abissale in termini di luminosità, densità cromatica, colore di base e sfumature.
In altre parole: è un altro Cielo.
Dato che le foto a colori relative a Meridiani Planum sono in true colors - come questa - a noi sembra chiaro che qualcosa non quadri...
Pensate alla nostra teoria sul "giorno di Marte" come giorno simile ad un "luminoso crepuscolo terrestre" e fateci avere le Vostre opinioni!
