Come il Dr Barca stesso ci spiega:"...Vedete quello strano effetto che mostra dei puntini colorati al centro? Direi che si tratta della prova matematica dello spostamento dei granuli di sabbia.
Perchè? Premesso che si tratta di quelle immagini che riprendono un movimento al centro frame - simili ad altre pubblicate non molto tempo fa -, si nota che la collimazione millimetrica che occorre operare nei frames MI per ottenere la Superdefinizione non ha trovato i dovuti riscontri (e cioè particella "a" su particella "A"; "b" su "B"; "c" su "C" etc.).
Questo perchè i granuli si sono spostati, e quindi sono apparsi i diversi colori generati dalla sovrapposizione dei vari strati di filtri...".
Che altro dire? Tutti i "tasselli" stanno andando al loro posto; su Marte "qualcosa" si muove!...MareKromium

It spans 120°, with South at the center.
Spirit had driven 3 meters (10 feet) southward earlier in the day. The foreground of this view includes terrain that the Rover covered in its next drive, when it progressed 17,5 meters (57 feet) farther southward on Sol 1868 (April 5, 2009).
In the middle distance, the western edge of the low plateau called "Home Plate" is on the left and a ridge called "Tsiolkovsky" is on the right, with the rover's planned route between the two.
By Sol 1899 (May 6, 2009) Spirit became embedded at a site dubbed "Troy", about as far South as the northern end of Tsiolkovsky.

Spirit used its Navigation Camera to capture this view of the terrain toward the South-East from the location Spirit reached on the 1870th Sol of the Rover's Mission on Mars (April 7, 2009).
The ground just left of the center of the image is where Spirit became embedded later in April.
Wheels on the western side of the Rover broke through the dark, crusty surface into bright, loose, sandy material that was not visible as the rover approached the site.MareKromium

As usual since losing the use of its right-front wheel in 2006, Spirit drove backward, dragging the immobile wheel. The Rover used its Front Hazard-Avoidance Camera after the drive to capture this view looking back at the ground covered.
For scale, the distance between the parallel wheel tracks is about 1 meter (40").
The drive added to progress in trekking counterclockwise around a low plateau called "Home Plate". Spirit is driving through a valley on the West side of the plateau. Home Plate is not within this image. The hill on the horizon in the upper right is Husband Hill, the Summit of which is about 750 meters (nearly half a mile) to the north of Spirit's position.
Following this drive, Spirit experienced difficulties that prevented driving during the subsequent week".MareKromium

SOL1886-2P293798016EFFB188P2369L5M1-02.jpgMartian Oddities: the "Joint" - Sol 1886 (ctx frame - credits: Dr G. Barca)56 visitePer gli amanti delle Forme Impossibili (o ai limiti dell'impossibile), eccoVi un "Joint" (incastro) che - ne siamo certi - intrigherebbe qualsiasi Geologo.
Si tratta di una roccia con fessurazione latitudinale la quale "ospita", all'interno della predetta fessura, un'altra roccia a forma di mattonella.
Quante possibilità ci sono che un simile "Incastro" (davvero profondamente inusuale, per forma e combinazione di eementi) si possa verificare del tutto "spontaneamente"?...

Barca)55 visite...Che la Natura possa creare delle forme incredibili (ai limiti dell'inverosimile), è un fatto; ma un "Incastro" simile, sia detto con Onestà, noi non riusciamo assolutamente a spiegarcelo - pur ammettendo, in termini di premessa logica generale, che questa struttura non pare essere "artificiale".

Barca)55 visiteIn questo quadro generale con inset - individuato dal nostro bravissimo Dr Barca - una curiosa "Pinna Rocciosa" che, mutatis mutandis, può rammentarci - sebbene in forma decisamente più imponente (stimiamo le dimensioni di questo dettaglio intorno ai 20/25 cm) - le Razor Blades (di regola aventi altezze non superiori ai pochi millimetri - Max 1-1,5 cm) che abbiamo incontrato tantissime volte, grazie al Rover Opportunity, nei pressi dei Crateri Endurance e Victoria e, nella Regione di Meridiani Planum, dovunque vi fossero dei Pavimenti Marziani posizionati su un piano leggermente inclinato rispetto al piano dell'orizzonte.
Evidenze di acqua corrente anche in questo caso? Probabilmente no, ma la forma del dettaglio non può non spingerci, quantomeno, a svolgere qualche informata riflessione...MareKromium
