Are these the "True Colors" of Mars? Caption NASA originale:"This image taken on Mars by the PanCam on the Rover Spirit shows the Rover's Color Calibration Target - also known as the MarsDial. The target's mirror and the shadows cast on it by the Sun help scientists determine the degree to which dusty Martian Skies alter the PanCam's perception of color. Immagine chiarissima. Ed il Cielo di Marte sarebbe grigio (visto lo specchio)? Dai, Amici della NASA, proviamo ad essere coerenti. C'é ancora chi Vi legge e guarda...Anche roba vecchia di 15 anni.

beh, a me i colori sembrano troppo falsati, praticamente saturati all'estremo... il bianco mi da fastidio a guardarlo, il blu non riesco nemmeno a spiegare cosa non mi quadra (e pensare che sarebbe il mio colore preferito ehehehe). Il cavetto dietro poi, praticamente brilla di luce propria!

per limiti personali, non ho ancora ben capito il suo funzionamento. O meglio, in linea generale sì, ma non riesco comunque ad avere chiara in mente la sua funzione, i suoi parametri e quanto possa essere un metodo per stabilire la veridicità dei colori

La domanda principale è: serve come riferimento per ciò che si vede dell'ambiente o del panorama, o per vedere se la camera riesce a interpretare bene i colori rispetto al modello che abbiamo sulla terra?
