Details of Home Plate's rocks (2) - Sol 770

Spirit successfully completed 4 Soles of driving clockwise around the rim of "Home Plate", toward the South and the East. The Rover is currently spending 3 Soles studying a rock target called "Fuzzy Smith", using three instruments on the Robotic Arm (RA), such as the Microscopic Imager (MI), the Mössbauer Spectrometer (MSpct) and the Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer (APXrS).

During the coming week (March 6-12), Spirit will communicate with Earth in UHF-only mode while NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter arrives at the Red Planet.
